Burj Al Arab unveiled the highly anticipated Burj Al Arab Terrace, a one-of-a-kind restaurant, pool, beach and cabana space. Marine construction experts ADMARES developed the terrace at a shipyard in Finland and then transported it to Dubai in eight pieces, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and marine life. The more than 100,000-square-foot space stretches into the sea and houses Scape Restaurant & Bar, two pools, dedicated butler-service cabanas and a beach area with sunbeds. “As the world’s most luxurious hotel, Burj Al Arab continuously evolves and re-invents our guest experience through state-of-the-art facilities,” said Anthony McHale, general manager, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. “Burj Al Arab Terrace is the ultimate destination for indulgence, socializing and relaxing and is another initiative in our endeavor to delight our guests.” The design of the terrace reflects the shape of Burj Al Arab with a palette of earth tones and whites with the highest-quality glass and hand-made light installations. There is one freshwater and one saltwater infinity pool, with four Jacuzzis and a swim-up bar. At Scape Restaurant & Bar, chef Timur Fazilov serves Californian fusion-style dishes. The 32 air-conditioned cabanas overlook Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab Terrace and the Dubai skyline. They accommodate up to four guests, a dedicated butler service, a dining and beverage menu, a spa menu, fully stocked minibars, fresh fruits, espresso machines, Bang & Olufsen TVs and a rotating amenity cycle.
