Brussels Airlines is working to inject the feeling of a boutique hotel into its intercontinental fleet.

The new cabin interiors completely revamp every class of service, from business to economy.

In business class, the airline is looking to separate itself from the competition. Everything, from the carpet motif to the relaxed atmosphere, is designed to invoke thoughts and memories of historic places throughout Belgium and inside Brussels Airport.

The new business class is limited to 30 seats in a staggered configuration, giving unparalleled privacy to every passenger. Each seat can be converted into a lounge sofa or a two-meter, full-flat bed, and includes 15.6-inch HD screens and noise-cancelling headphones. Business class also features a walk-up bar where guests have access to Belgian beers and can network with other passengers.

Premium economy has also been overhauled. The changes include wider armrests, an expanded range of motion and increased seat pitch and one of the largest premium economy screens in Europe.

The economy service has been overhauled with new, ergonomic headrests, a large seat recline, personal USB ports and a 10-inch screen for entertainment purposes.

The first of the refurbished fleet will enter service this month.
