British Airways opened its latest lounge last week. The airline’s third U.S. lounge is located in San Francisco (SFO).
The lounge is separated into various “zones,” including a central bar, self-serve deli and a study area with wireless printing. Floor-to-ceiling windows across the lounge provide views of the runway. First-class customers enjoy access to the Boutique Dining Room, for chef-inspired menus and fine wines. First-class dining menus include options such as charcuterie boards, seafood, pastas and seasonal soups.
“We know that lounges form an important part of the journey for some of our customers, so we’re delighted to be able to open this new space in San Francisco, the third lounge in the United States to benefit from our investment program,” said Carolina Martinoli, director of brand and customer experience, British Airways.
“We think customers will love the new look and feel. We have had such positive feedback from customers who have experienced our New York lounge and they both follow the same design concept.”
British Airways is in the process of redesigning old lounges and opening new ones across the world. Upcoming openings include lounges at Johannesburg (JNB), Geneva (GVA) and Chicago (ORD).
