City dwellers who opted out of personal vehicle ownership will soon have a new, simple way to travel in style. Book by Cadillac is a new car rental service that will allow drivers with valid licenses to rent Cadillac models for personal use, on a month-to-month basis.
Potential drivers only need to download the app, submit required information (driver´s license and credit card data), then request a vehicle and delivery time, with the option to drive or exchange for another vehicle at any time.
The hefty price tag ($1,500 per month, with no long-term commitment required) comes with benefits not available with other car rental services. For example, personalized concierges are available and easy to reach before, during and after the rental period for any reason. All vehicles are equipped with WiFi hotspots, OnStar and Sirius XM Radio. The monthly fee also includes insurance and maintenance, but gas and tolls are the responsibility of the renter.
Currently in beta testing mode in New York City, interested drivers can sign up for the waitlist on the website.
