This past weekend I traveled to Sea Isle City, New Jersey, for the annual Polar Bear Plunge. I wrote about the Plunge this time last year, but the idea is for everyone to donate money and then jump into the ocean for a good cause. Unlike last year, I chose not to jump in, mainly because the weather was pretty unforgiving and I wanted to maintain some feeling in my legs this time. I always like this particular weekend because it’s good to see everyone coming together for charity, plus it gives you an excuse to head down to the beach for a bit.

After things ended with the Plunge, I was excited to go home to have dinner at Jean-Georges Philadelphia on the top floor of the new Four Seasons Philadelphia. The 360-degree view of the city is the first thing you notice, and I definitely think it is one of the best views in Philadelphia. The meal was no less impressive. For dinner I had Parmesan-crusted chicken followed by a chocolate mousse that was impossible to resist.

Overall, everything, including the service, was spectacular from start to finish, and I’d highly recommend a trip to the Four Seasons the next time you find yourself in Philadelphia.
