This is one of my favorite times of the year because it’s March Madness! Over the past two weeks, college teams from the NCAA have fought to be the last one standing. This year, the madness has been crazy!
There have been so many upsets already: 13 seeds beat No. 1 seeds and everything in between. Most people’s brackets are busted and the teams they picked to win it all have been knocked out. Unfortunately, I am one of those people.
I went against my normal ways and voted against the team I normally pick. This year I went with Kansas, when I normally go with Villanova, but I didn’t pick them because their best player got hurt in the Big 10 Tournament. Turns out, I should have trusted my gut and went with Nova because they made it further than Kansas.
I have spent a lot of time the past two weeks watching the games and hoping the teams I picked win. A lot of the games have been nail-biters and stressful to watch. As the teams dwindle down and we enter the Elite 8, I’m sure the games are going to be even better.
Although watching the games and the upsets are my favorite part, I also enjoy the commentary from Charles Barkley, Shaq, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson during the TNT games.
After the craziness of this year’s March Madness, I am interested to see what two teams will make it to the Championship. I hope it’s a good game!
