Just in time for the lazy, hazy days of summer, Omni Hotels & Resorts introduces its Art of Water menu, partnering with mixology artisan Kim Haasarud of Liquid Architecture to create a roster of cool beverages designed to take the heat off hot summer days.

Haasarud’s regionally inspired cocktails include:

• Northeast: Deep End Sangria, Elderflower Champagne Collins, Long Island Sound, Ginger Blossom Pick and Skinny Grapefruit Tequila Spritzer
• Southeast: Blood Orange Collins, Beachwalker Sangria, Peach Pick, Strawberry Mojito and Tangerine & Mint Tequila Spritzer
• Texas: Stoli Corona, Watermelon Lime Sangria, Grilled Pineapple Cocktail, Lemon Tea Smash and Skinny Chipotle Margarita
• West Coast: Raspberry Pick, Blood Orange Collins, White Sangria, Summer Lemon Collins and Sea Salt Margarita

1 ½ ounce Belvedere Lemon Tea

½ ounce Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur

¾ ounce lemon juice

1 ounce simple syrup

½ ounce unsweetened tea

5 mint leaves

Lemon wedge and mint sprig for garnish

Combine first six ingredients in a cocktail shaker.  Top with ice and shake vigorously.  Pour into a tall glass. Garnish with lemon wedge and mint sprig.
