Avengers Infinity War

May 8, 2018

When I’m not working as an intern for Global Traveler, I’m a manager at a movie theatre. The job can be tough and demanding since we’re constantly dealing with one issue after another. Thankfully, there are some perks, including that we can usually see the movies a day or two before they come out. This was the case with Avengers Infinity War. While the movie was available to the public Thursday, April 26, I saw it Tuesday, April 24.

I won’t put any spoilers in this, but the movie was fantastic. Aside from the action and witty dialogue, I was most interested to see how the film would handle shooting with so many actors. I’m happy to say each character in the Marvel Universe had plenty of screen time. Incredibly, the film was able to focus on all the characters. I felt all my favorites — Iron Man, Spiderman, Black Panther and Thor — all had adequate time on screen.

So far, the movie has done great at the box office and my theater. I hope it continues to bring in large crowds of fans, and I look forward to seeing Deadpool 2 next week!

Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh Review

Phnom Penh as we imagined it stretches beneath us: a picturesque, low-rise mix of Southeast Asian and French Colonial styles. When the inhabitants of those buildings look back at us here in the Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Chip Mong Tower, they see the future.
