For nostalgia’s sake I recently revisited Adventure Aquarium over the humid weekend.

I have been to the Camden Aquarium on class trips, with groups and my family more times than I can remember, but it was still nice to go back. My friends and I went from room to room touching stingrays, mollusks and sand sharks and awing over the penguins until we made our way to the new and improved shark exhibit.

The big draw to the aquarium seemed to be the Shark Bridge, which is a mesh bridge over the shark tank for guests to walk over and see inside the tank at the sharks below. There were so many children already on the walk, we never found an opening to check it out, but it was definitely a new part of the exhibit I hadn’t seen before.

After the very well-populated Shark Bridge and Tunnel visit, we made our way into my favorite exhibit, Hippo Haven. We arrived after the feeding, so we looked on without a crowd. Overall, the trip was a nice excuse to trek over the river and out of the humidity for an indoor activity.
