A fantastic event was held last week to celebrate the winners of Global Traveler GT Tested Awards. The team at The Peninsula Beverly Hills put together a wonderful offering of fine cuisine, and I received many very positive responses from our guests. This event is a culmination of a year’s worth of effort, surveying our readers and then planning for a flawless event.
There is nothing like the service at The Peninsula; it is by far the best hotel in Los Angeles, and as our reader’s voted, the Best Hotel in the United States. You can see images on Global Traveler’s Facebook page.
I also was able to play two rounds of golf while I was in Los Angeles to report soon in the pages of Global Traveler. An upcoming issue will feature DeBell Golf Club in Burbank and the Zaharias Course — fondly know as the “Babe” part of Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms. Both courses are very narrow and require accuracy.
