Alaia Belize, an Autograph Collection, on Ambergris Caye, recently announced new renovations to improve the guest experience.

One of the biggest additions includes the resort’s newest cocktail bar, Arlie’s, named after Arlie Petters, a renowned Belizean American mathematician, Benjamin Powell Professor of Mathematics and a professor of Physics and Economics at Duke University.The bar features a menu celebrating fresh and local flavors with expertly crafted cocktails blending classic mixology with a Belizean twist. Cocktails embody creativity, precision and a touch of wonder honoring Arlie’s innovation . Unwind and relax while sipping on a negroni with a modern twist or the Welcome to Belize, an artisanal infusion of local fruits and Belizean rum.

The resort also completed a new seawall at the resort’s oceanfront to create a bigger area for guests to hang out. The new addition provides a scenic place for relaxation and other fun events, while still offering direct access to a swimmable beach location. Guests can expect a sandy lounge area with daybeds, umbrellas and beachside service while they soak up the sun and enjoy the ocean views.

The resort also made upgrades to K’ln Spa & Wellness Center, as well as debuted the new Sea Grape Hall Event Center, available for meetings, conferences, weddings and other social events.
