Guests of Banyan Tree’s two luxury resorts in Mexico have the opportunity to enjoy unlimited spa treatments with the launch of Spa Sanctuary Villas at Banyan Tree Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya and Banyan Tree Capo Marques near Acapulco.
The exclusive pampering experience begins the moment guests arrive with a private airport transfer and in-room check-in followed by a welcome foot bath. A meeting with the sanctuary hosts and professional spa therapists ensures guests can create an itinerary reflecting their preferences and goals for the visit, whether they want to relax and recharge as a couple or experience a fitness-focused experience featuring sporting activities.
The dedicated Spa Sanctuary Villa accommodations are designed to allow guests to enjoy unlimited spa treatments within the privacy of their own villa, featuring separate areas for spa treatments with two treatment beds for tandem massages as well as areas for lounging and sleeping. Each spa also includes secluded outdoor areas and a private pool.
Spa-goers begin each day with a Morning Delight Treatment, such as a neck or shoulder massage or Thai yoga massage, followed by an in-villa wellness breakfast with healthy choices like organic juice and seasonal fresh fruit. Throughout the day, therapists are on hand to provide guests with additional treatments at their leisure from a menu of 10 treatments, including choices like Ayurvedic, Balinese and Lomi Lomi as well as targeted sports therapy or Thai classic massages. Each day concludes with special therapeutic Sanctuary for the Senses turn-down amenities to offer guests a complete spa experience.
In addition to the 5-star resorts in Mexico, the Spa Sanctuary Villas with unlimited spa treatments are currently available at seven Asian properties, with all Banyan Tree properties to offer the accommodations in the future.
Rates for a Spa Sanctuary Villa start from $1,399 per night at Banyan Tree Mayakoba and $1,439 at Banyan Tree Cabo Marques, including unlimited spa treatments, specially-designed spa and wellness-themed amenities and airport transfers as well as daily breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and a healthy minibar.

Sep 30, 2026Review: Sushi by Scratch at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley
Husband-and-wife team Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee made their mark by reinventing the term “hidden gem” through their surprising and intentional collection of destination restaurants. While they launched the original Scratch Kitchen in 2013, an expired lease prompted them to relocate to an unassuming strip mall in suburban Encino in 2015 and rename it Scratch Bar & Kitchen. Even at a time when the San Fernando Valley was not known for innovative 5-star dining, the Lees’ concepts gathered such a strong buzz that discerning diners cheerfully followed them “over the hill.”
