Australia’s second voco property opened last month as voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley. The newly renovated property is an upscale estate with 70 guestrooms sitting on 70 acres of countryside within easy reach of wineries and nature pursuits. The new design concept includes voco’s signature splash of yellow, cozy bedding and thoughtful artwork and textiles.
On-site dining includes Locavore Dining and Epoche Lounge Bar for lunch and dinner, and The Conservatory for high tea in the rose garden. The property boasts its own vegetable garden and several beehives. Sustainability is a prime concern for the property, and beyond the on-site garden, initiatives include plastic-free bedding, large-bottle bath amenities and farm animals to help consume food waste.
Social spaces throughout the property include tennis courts, a billiards room, indoor heated pool and fitness center.
