Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts introduced a new global program rolling out at its more than 100 properties — Au Soleil: a Summer Soirée by Le Méridien. The celebration of European summer style and living is seen through a dedicated Petit Plates menu, music, art and experiences that differ from property to property.

“No matter where you are from or where you are traveling, the idea of summer connotes a sense of slowing down and savoring the good life — a mentality that we celebrate at our hotels year-round,” said George Fleck, vice president of global brand marketing and management, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts. “With a hint of whimsy and a nostalgic nod to the glamour of the French Riveria in the 1960s, this program aims to inspire travelers to explore the world in style, the same way that we’re inspired when visiting destinations like Mauritius and Melbourne.”

The program kicked off at Le Méridien Beach Plaza in Monte Carlo with musical performances, a custom-built rosé bar and beachside bites. The same week, Catalonia’s Le Méridien Ra rolled out its version of the program with a signature gelato truck to accompany its menu of Mediterranean cuisine and sparkling cocktails.

This Saturday, Le Méridien Denver Downtown introduces its version of Au Soleil, with a Bastille Day aperitif hour. Throughout the rest of the summer, guests can find similar aperitif hours every day in the hotel’s restaurant and patio, backgammon and rosé in The Lobbyist bar on Sundays and vintage summer cinema nights on Mondays. Light bites, cocktails and music accompany showings of your favorite 1960s films.

Le Méridien Versailles provides similar weekly offerings, with live music, rosé cocktails, gelato and a backgammon tournament each Thursday as the property transforms its outside terrace into a vintage-inspired Mediterranean oasis.
