Apples Are The Theme At Pomze In Paris

At Pomze in Paris, apples rule. In fact, there’s a bit of apple in everything on the gourmet menu created by owners Daniel and Emmanuel Dayan and chef Kenichi Handa. You’ll find plenty of recognizable varieties such as granny smith and delicious, but the Dayans also take pride in their resurrection of heritage apples from local conservation orchards. Signature dishes include tender caramelized pork ribs served with three-apple salad, and dessert of caramelized apple cheesecake.

Things stay tasty beneath the restaurant as well, where a cider cellar and bar feature handcrafted French ciders and apple-based drinks including Calvados apple brandy. There’s also an apple boutique with products ranging from cider jellies and vinegars to three-apple preserve and Earl Grey apple tea. Located at 109 Blvd. Haussmann near Place Saint-Augustine, the restaurant is accessible from the Miromesnil and Saint-Augustine metro stations.
