Reaching new heights of luxury, Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas launched its Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, the highest 5-star establishment in the Middle East.
The resort is perched 2,000 metres above sea level on a towering massif on the Sultanate of Oman’s Saiq Plateau. It will feature 115 guestrooms and villas overlooking either a vast canyon or serene gardens. The large guestrooms feature a spa-like bathroom complete with balcony and rain shower. The one- and two-bedroom villas provide personal service and a private infinity pool overlooking the cliffs of the plateau or the gardens.
Along with breathtaking views, the resort offers guests a luxurious spa and six restaurants and lounges, including culinary features such as live cooking stations, innovative Omani cuisine, courtyard cafés and Moroccan-inspired tapas. The resort is ideally located, as the mountains provide mild temperatures year-round, allowing guests the opportunity to explore the geographic wonders of the surrounding mountains, making the resort the perfect combination of relaxing luxury and adventure.
