Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa is upping the ante when it comes to travel by tuk tuk. The newly opened luxury resort recently introduced e-Tuk, dubbing it the new standard for premium resort transport.
The electric vehicles, manufactured by the Dutch Tuk Tuk Factory, replace now-standard golf carts as a means of transporting guests around the resort.
“Our vehicles have been designed for road use, but the enormous range and exotic appeal is proving to be attractive to premium resorts,” said Roland Vos, CEO, Tuk Tuk Factory. “Electric driving is especially popular in the recreational sector. Customers want silence, reliability and clean air, but most of all they consider our vehicles to be good fun!”
Tuk Tuk Factory is set to deliver its complete range of vehicles — including the six-passenger e-Tuk Limo and the workhorse e-Tuk Vendo Cargo for housekeeping and kitchen staff — to Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa over the coming weeks.
“The e-Tuks are a unique and very fitting addition to our Thai inspired resort and are proving to be very popular with our guests,” said James Hewitson, resident manager, Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa.
