American Airlines’ Flagship Lounge and Flagship First Dining venues are officially open at Los Angeles International Airport.
American Airlines customers can now enjoy a high-quality, sit-down meal before boarding.
“As our West Coast gateway to the Asia-Pacific region, Los Angeles is where many of our customers begin long flights either internationally or across the United States,” said Suzanne Boda, senior vice president, American Airlines. “We are proud to offer best-in-class lounge and dining options at the start of their journey.”
The lounge and dining venue are part of a $200 million investment in the airline’s luxury travel experience. Other projects include a new Admirals Club in Terminal 5 and a refurbished Admirals Club in Terminal 4.
American Airlines is the largest carrier at LAX with more than 200 daily flights to 70 destinations. Since 2015, the airline added 24 new destinations from the hub, including Sydney (SYD), Auckland (AKL), Hong Kong (HKG), Tokyo (HND) and Beijing (PEK).
