AmaWaterways recently unveiled its lineup of experiences and exclusive offers for its 2024 Summer European river cruise season, and the list includes 20 Celebration of Wine Cruises, with two hosted by Samantha Brown and Chef Joanne Weir; and three Loyalty Appreciation Cruises.
Additionally, with the Summer Triple Savings offer on select departures, travelers can reserve a river cruise by March 31, and receive $2,000 savings per stateroom, a complimentary stateroom upgrade and a $50 onboard credit per stateroom. Solo travelers can choose to waive the single supplement in lieu of the Summer Triple Savings offer.
The Celebration of Wine River Cruises are hosted by wine professionals who lead cruisers through tastings, interactive discussions, select shore excursions to vineyards and cellars, and a special food and wine paring dinner on board. Samantha Brown hosts the AmaMagna journey departing July 29, while Chef Joanne Weir sails on the cruise departing Lyon Aug. 29.
Loyalty Appreciation cruises are designed for returning guests and offer them a choice of one of three offers: complimentary economy airfare; $1,000 per person cruise savings; or a reduced single supplement. The offers can be combined with AmaWaterways Loyalty Benefits.
“Our Loyalty Appreciation Cruises are our heartfelt expression of gratitude to those who have chosen AmaWaterways as their preferred choice for river cruising. We are honored to welcome our loyal returning guests on these special cruises this summer, where we hope they will see some familiar faces and forge new lifelong friendships,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder, AmaWaterways.
This summer’s Loyalty Appreciation Cruises are:
- Impressions of the Seine & Paris, June 1–8
- Magna on the Danube, July 28–Aug. 4
- Medieval Treasures, Aug. 21–28

Sep 6, 2024Escape to Tahiti for a Captivating Island-Hopping Cruise
The 118 islands of French Polynesia reveal themselves layer by fascinating layer, with the spirit of mana (vital force) linking them all the way from Tahiti to the remote reaches of the Marquesas. A cruise makes it easy to cover a lot of ground while unpacking just once (and sneaking in some work done in comfort, too, during at-sea days). And cruising offers particular appeal within this semi-autonomous French territory sprawling across nearly 2 million square miles of ocean and covering five archipelagos.
