Alaska Airlines launched a Mileage Plan sale, offering a 40 percent bonus on miles purchased by May 3.
For example, Mileage Plan members who buy 10,000 miles will earn 4,000 extra bonus points, and while Alaska Airlines is not part of a global alliance, it does have relationships with several airlines for earning and redeeming miles, such as Cathay Pacific and Emirates, so the bonus miles will come in handy.
This is a limited-time offer and it is only available while quantities last, so act quickly to save. During this sale, customers can purchase 10,000 miles up to five times, a 70,000-mile bonus opportunity.
