Hotel AKA NoMad officially opens in the NoMad neighborhood of New York City, marking the second U.S.-designed hotel by Piero Lissoni. The 178-room property features a Lissoni-designed floating staircase within the center of the lobby, as well as a collection of art and objects situated throughout public spaces by Dutch duo XandL and others.

Drawing influences from Japan and Scandinavia, the interior embraces Scandinavian minimalism with sleek materials, clean lines, and warm tones and colors. Exceptional guestrooms and suites incorporate metal, ceramic and stone details to complement amenities like minibars, Nespresso machines, in-room artwork and more. Many suites also boast views of the Empire State Building, with select suites including private, landscaped balconies.

Other features of AKA NoMad include a guest library with dedicated workspaces, a cinema with intimate outdoor movie screenings during warmer months, a sleek bar with cocktails, an upscale restaurant with award-winning chef and restauranteur Greg Vernick, a Technogym fitness center and Remedy Place. Remedy Place is a first-of-its-kind social wellness club, located a short walk from the hotel. Within, guests can enjoy bespoke, curated treatments and state-of-the-art Tech-remedies.
