Over the weekend of Aug. 10–12, the College Park Aviation Museum and the College Park Airport celebrate the 100th anniversary of U.S. Post Office Airmail Service. The airport is actually the world’s oldest continuously operating airport, established in 1909 as a flight school for Army pilots taught by legendary aviator Wilbur Wright.
Exhibits include historic aircraft and, on Sunday Aug. 12, the original airmail flight will be reenacted using a historic wooden Curtiss JN-4 Jenny biplane. Taking off for a five-hour flight to New York, filmmaker Dorian Walker will pilot the plane. On the ground, spectators can indulge in a pancake breakfast.

Apr 17, 2024Amansara Review
It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
