Air France and Air Lituanica recently signed an interline agreement to make travel to European, North and South American and African destinations via Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle even easier. Under the terms of the new agreement, passengers are now able to buy a single ticket for connecting flights. “It is extremely important that we will be able to use the particularly wide ticket distribution channels of these two carriers,” said Simonas Barktus, chief commercial officer, Air Lituanica. “Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate connecting flights on our direct to Paris and Amsterdam.” A little more than a year old, Air Lituanica currently operates regular flights from Vilnius (VNO) to Amsterdam (AMS), Berlin (TXL), Billund (BLL), Brussels (BRU), Munich (MUN), Prague (PRG), Paris (CDG) and Tallin (TLL), as well as seasonal flights to London Gatwick (LGW), Edinburgh (EDI) and Gothenburg (GOT) Dec. 19–Jan. 4, 2015.
