Air Canada opened a new casual airport lounge concept at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The new experience, called Air Canada Café, complements the airline’s existing Maple Leaf Lounges and the new Express Lounge for business travelers.
The new café sits within the airport’s domestic gate area and includes Air Canada’s premium-level customers a selection of hot and cold beverages, grab-and-go food items, WiFi and bistro-style seating. There’s also Lavazza coffee, fresh juices, cold-brew “mocktails,” tea, soft drinks, and other non-alcoholic beverages.
There’s light breakfast food, like yogurt and pastries, served before 11 a.m., after which sandwiches and salads are available. Other snacks include Lindt chocolates, OKA cheeses and Gouter pastries. The café also offer free digital versions of more than 7,000 newspapers and magazines.
The café boasts 109 seats, located near gate D20. It will be open seven days a week and includes a customer service desk.
