Aeromexico, Mexico’s largest global airline, announced the expansion of its route network with the launch of new service between Mexico City (MEX) and Quito, Ecuador (UIO). The carrier operates the route daily with Boeing 737-700 aircraft, featuring 12 seats in business class, 18 in economy plus, and 94 in economy. With the addition of this new service, Aeromexico is the only airline to offer direct flights between Ecuador and Mexico. Ecuadorians can travel from Mexico City to more than 80 destinations in Aeromexico’s route network, including 47 in Mexico, 17 in the United States, three in Europe, two in Asia and one in Canada.
