A Banyan Group-Branded Hotel Opens in Sokcho, South Korea

Banyan Group announced the newest addition to its growing portfolio with the opening of Cassia Sokcho, marking the debut of the Cassia brand in South Korea. This 674-room hotel, located between the East Sea and Mount Seorak, also features suites and penthouse apartments equipped with kitchen facilities, private balconies and bathtubs.

The hotel spans 26 floors above ground and two below, incorporating destination elements into its design and services.

Various dining options cater to every taste. Fogo grill restaurant serves an array of grilled dishes, including fresh meat and local seafood delicacies; Vista features dynamic show kitchens serving international cuisine buffet-style; Horizon offers freshly baked bread, fresh juice and healthy food; Cielo, located on the rooftop, boasts a premium alcohol menu; Bosco provides a cozy brunch and afternoon tea experience; and Market 937 is a retail store selling snacks, drinks and local delicacies.

On the fifth floor lies 8LEMENTS Spa, fully dedicated to wellbeing with 15 treatment rooms and massage spaces. The spa also features a large whirlpool with East Sea views and both dry and wet saunas. The Activa fitness center comes with the latest facilities, and guests can recharge at Liquid Activa bar with healthy and fresh drinks. Cassia Sokcha also includes infinity, indoor and kids swimming pools, along with open-air baths.

Cassia Sokcho offers five versatile event spaces; the ballroom accommodates up to 400 guests and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including an LED screen, professional audio equipment and stage.
