The Relais & Chateaux property just completed its fabulous new spa — a €6 million project that’s added 16,000 square feet of space to the stunning property.

The spa’s top floor is dedicated to a 700-square-foot VIP Spa Suite, where treatments come with majestic views of the hotel gardens and Auxois Mountains. The suite — fitted with hammam, sauna, balneotherapy pool and fireplace — can accommodate up to eight guests. Along with access to the main spa spaces, suite guests enjoy Champagne, dessert and room service. The VIP Suite can be reserved for half or full days, while couples can settle in for an overnight stay.

Along with 10 treatment rooms, the main space offers guests the opportunity for two complementary sensory experiences: first is a “multisensorial” space that’s designed to feed the senses with a phlebology area, water bikes, massage alcoves, a pool and geyser; the second is a “delight” space with a more relaxing focus that includes a sauna with garden views, hammams with skin exfoliation facilities, an experiential shower and other pampering options. The menu of signature treatments features The Secrets de Cassis therapies, each based on the aromatic and nutritional qualities of local Burgundy-grown black currants.
