American Express inked a deal bringing a new Centurion Lounge to the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport.
The new lounge serves international passengers and those in the directly connecting Terminals 4 and 5, also connected to Terminals 6 and 8. “While it’s not a short walk between these terminals, this new lounge will be a welcome reprieve during long LAX layovers,” the Points Guy noted.
American Express opened a pop-up Centurion Lounge at LAX in December 2016, “providing travelers with a relaxing retreat during the busy holiday travel season and raise further awareness for our premium Centurion Lounges across the country.” But they closed the temporary facility in 2016.
American Express will lease the lounge space from LAX at $2.8 million yearly, with a 10-year agreement in place — marking the company’s 12th premium lounge in the United States.
