Virgin Hotels Las Vegas announced this week it will open fall 2019. The lifestyle hotel brand partnered with Juniper Capital Partners and Fengate Real Asset Investments — along with partners and other private investors — to purchase the famous Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The Vegas staple will reopen as a conceptualized and revitalized property. Hundreds of millions will be pumped into the project to give the guestrooms, restaurants and public spaces of the property a Virgin-approved facelift. The property will reflect Virgin’s signature sleek design with stylish social spaces in the mix.

The hotel will feature 1,504 Chambers, Grand Chamber Suites and Penthouse Suites to accommodate its many patrons. The 60,000-square-foot casino will undergo a full renovation, as well as the multiple pools, restaurants, lounges and bars. True to the Vegas lifestyle, new and fresh nightlife venues will be introduced to the space. The brand’s flagship space, the Commons Club, which includes a restaurant, bar and entertainment, will be made available to guests as well.

Hard Rock will continue full-service operations under the same name until the official opening date.
