Like a little mystery with your music? Head to the historic Stanley Hotel in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Feb. 23–24, for the Stan Jam Bluegrass Weekend. Forever famous for its connection to the 1980 Warner Bros. movie version of Stephen King’s novel The Shining, the hotel is set above the charming town of Estes Park. During the Friday–Saturday event, top Colorado musicians and singers will gather on the stage of the 109-year-old Stanley Concert Hall for live concerts and other events including an interactive musical workshop with the band Rapidgrass, followed by a group pick-along (bring your own instrument).
Headliners are famed bluegrass musician Del McCoury and the Del McCoury Band. Other scheduled performers include Jeff Austin, Wood Belly, The Lonesome Days, The Side Hustlers and Chain Station. The weekend begins with a welcome craft beer reception featuring Denver’s Modern Whiskey Market. Stan Jam is produced by iHeart Radio.
