Air Canada removes its code on some United Airlines flights to the United States. The changes take effect Dec. 10, and impact flights to most of United’s major hubs including Chicago (ORD), Houston (IAH) and Newark (EWR).
As a result, passengers booked on Air Canada flights must be re-accommodated on the same flight under the corresponding UA operating flight number. This goes into effect for the following routes:
- YUL/YYZ–EWR
- YYC/YYZ–IAH
- YUL/YYZ–ORD
- YVR–SFO
- YVR–LAX
Air Canada also announced the following:
- AC customers should be rebooked onto the UA operating flight number using the original ticketed booking class
- If the original booking class is not available, book the lowest available booking class within the same cabin/compartment
- Please ensure the correct ticketing procedures are followed, including adding the ticket endorsement: REISSUE DUE SKCH
