Airbnb users can now book a table at nearly 650 restaurants across the United States, thanks to a new partnership with reservation app, Resy.
The ability to book a restaurant is part of Airbnb’s goal to enhance users’ entire trip, and follows the release of the Experiences feature last year.
Travelers can now find a table at popular spots like Petit Crenn in San Francisco, Kismet in Los Angles, Bateau in Seattle and Thip Khao in Washington, D.C., from the Airbnb website or app.
According to a Harris Poll consumer survey, two-thirds of American travelers make restaurant reservations when they’re away from home, and finding a restaurant in an unfamiliar city can be challenging.
Airbnb’s partnership with Resy makes it easy to find great places with a restaurant tab, allowing users to search by cuisine, time of day or use a map view to find a restaurant nearby. People can then book a table directly through Airbnb.
