Alaska Airlines announced 12 new daily routes from San Francisco (SFO) and San José (SJC), Calif., this year, greatly expanding its nationwide network.
On Aug. 28, Alaska will begin new San José–Austin (AUS) flights, followed by a San José–Tucson (TUS) service Aug. 29, and a San Francisco–Philadelphia (PHL) flight Aug. 31.
In September, Alaska will launch flights from San Francisco to Nashville (BNA), Albuquerque (ABQ), Kansas City (MCI), New Orleans (MSY) and Indianapolis (IND). In late September, the airline will launch a San José–Los Angeles (LAX) service.
Later in the fall, Alaska will launch service to Baltimore (BWI) from San Francisco, as well as flights from San Francisco to Raleigh (RDU) and Kona (KOA), Hawai’i.
The airline also plans to operate previously announced routes from the two Bay Area cities in the coming months, including San José–Newark (EWR), San José–Burbank (BUR), San Francisco–Orlando (MCO) and San Francisco–Mexico City (MEX).
