Princess Cruises unveiled details for its largest Japan programme to date.
The cruise line’s 2018 itinerary features a record-breaking 60 voyages in Japan, scheduled between April and December and ranging from four to 23 nights.
The 2018 season will include six maiden ports of call and two new autumn sailings, including an eight-day voyage called Fall Foliage, which will feature calls to Japanese regions renowned for autumn beauty, such as Kyoto and Iwakuni.
Other programme highlights include nighttime port calls and voyages that coincide with the Nebuta festival, the Kumano fireworks festival and cherry blossom season.
The 2,700-passenger Diamond Princess cruise ship, tailored to the Japanese market, including a sushi restaurant and a large onsen area, will operate on all itineraries, on sale now for 2018.
