Dubai International Airport’s (DBX) Dubai Duty Free welcomes two new Apple stores. Offering retail space of roughly 750 and 925 square feet, the latter is the largest Apple customer experience space located within a travel venue. The two new stores are located in Terminal 3, near gates B15 and A12. “With the Apple shop program in Concourse B being the largest in any travel retail in the world, this is a very exciting development for Dubai Duty Free and our customers. They will enjoy the design, layout and products, along with a first-class customer experience and product knowledge,” said Colm McLoughlin, executive vice chairman and CEO, Dubai Duty Free. All staff members at both locations have undergone extensive training to ensure a high level of customer experience like nowhere else in the world. Since the opening just a few weeks ago, Apple sales in the airport have already increased by 8 percent. Sales are projected to reach $61 million this year.
