Air Canada introduces new non-stop routes to the continental United States from Canadian cities such as Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary. Throughout May and June, Air Canada will debut routes from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Salt Lake City International Airport and Washington-Dulles International Airport; from Montreal Trudeau International Airport to Denver International Airport, Bush Intercontinental Houston and Philadelphia International Airport; from Vancouver International Airport to Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport; and from Calgary International Airport to San Francisco International Airport.
Later this year, Air Canada plans to add non-stop service from Vancouver to San Diego International Airport (during the summer only) and Calgary to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (throughout the entire year).
With the introduction of these new routes to major cities in the United States, Air Canada strives to maintain its reputation as the airline with the greatest number of direct flights within North America. The introduction of more non-stop flights also helps promote Canada as a stopover option between the United States and destinations abroad. Air Canada will offer these flights aboard a variety of aircraft including Air Canada Express and its Star Alliance partners.
