Hyatt Regency Changchun opened its doors to guests this month in the heart of the capital city of Jilin province in northeast China. The property becomes the first Hyatt-branded hotel in the city and the first high-end business hotel to open in the city’s downtown area in almost two decades.

Located in the lush Chaoyang district, known for its verdant areas like Peony Garden and Children’s Park, the hotel resides within Hongwell International Plaza, a statuesque skyscraper situated 50 minutes from Changchun Longjia International Airport. Highlights of the 427-room hotel include 1,300 square metres of wellness facilities, the largest among hotels in the city; five restaurants and bars serving cuisine ranging from authentic Chinese fare to fine European food; and eight flexible event spaces totaling 2,300 square metres.
