Alila just opened its first island resort in Greater China with Alila Dong’ao Island Zhuhai, a short ferry ride from Zhuhai city. This all-suite luxury resort spans 104 suites, complete with private courtyards, pools or rooftop terraces.

Suites boast floor-to-ceiling windows, separate living rooms, double-vanity bathrooms and a variety of distinctive spaces to unwind. Most feature a balcony and tea room, while others include a garden and private pool. Two exclusive rooftop suites are also available, providing 270-degree ocean views.

In addition to upscale suites, the new island resort is home to two restaurants and a bar. These venues showcase a variety of culinary experiences showcasing Cantonese flavors made with seasonal ingredients, including produce from the resort’s own organic garden. SEASALT is a seafood-driven, all-day restaurant with an indoor-outdoor layout, while HOITONG specializes in farm-to-table, traditional Cantonese dishes. Here, signature dishes are prepared in real time by skilled chefs for an interactive dining experience. In an outdoor lounge with sea views, CHUN bar serves afternoon tea, locally inspired cocktails and iced teas.

Alila Dong’ao Island Zhuhai also spoils guests with Spa Alila, a wellness space spanning four treatment rooms, sauna rooms, a hammam, Himalayan salt room and vitality pool. More than 5,000 square feet of versatile event space is also situated within the hotel.
To celebrate the hotel’s opening, World of Hyatt members can earn 500 bonus points per qualifying night for stays through July 31.
