Tenerife, the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, invites travelers to visit in 2025 and experience newly renovated accommodations and Michelin-starred dining additions.
Several highly anticipated hotel re-openings take place this year. Cleopatra Palace Hotel Tenerife is slated to open following a complete renovation. Situated steps from El Camisón Beach, this family-friendly resort features more than 400 guestrooms. The iconic Gran Hotel Taoro will reopen in April. This historic property opened 134 years ago as Spain’s first luxury hotel. The renovation focused on preserving the building’s history while adding modern luxury to its 199 guestrooms and suites. Hotel Parque San Antonio celebrates its 60th anniversary with the debut of its improvements in winter 2025. Hotel Occidental Santa Cruz Contemporáneo reveals its complete refurbishment by summer 2025. Guests can expect to see enhanced experiences and upgraded spaces.

Tenerife boasts 10 Michelin stars across eight restaurants. The island features new additions to its Michelin-starred options. Il Bocconcino by Royal Hideaway at Royal Hideaway Corales Hotel offers contemporary Italian cuisine. The property is home to several other Michelin-starred dining options. Restaurante Donaire in Hotel GF Victoria was awarded one Michelin star. Enjoy innovative cuisine with a French influence.
