Krabi, Thailand, is receiving two new Avani Hotels and Resorts properties.
Two existing hotels are signing on to the brand and will undergo renovations to bring them in line with Avani’s property standards. The first property, Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort, is scheduled to open later this year. Avani Koh Lanta Krabi Resort will open its doors by mid-2020.
“We are extremely excited to include Krabi in our portfolio as the Avani brand expands further through such agreements with trusted partners within Thailand,” said Javier Pardo, vice president, operations, Avani Hotels and Resorts.
Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort will overlook the Ao Nang beach and feature 178 rooms. New dining experiences and a close proximity to the airport aim to make the resort popular with visitors.
Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort features 83 rooms and is nestled in wooded parkland. It also offers excellent ocean views.
After the new properties open, Avani will operate nine hotels in Thailand.
