The hospitality group ended May by opening a brand-new hotel and convention centre in Agra.
The Indian Hotels Company Limited brings the Taj brand to Agra with Taj Hotel and Convention Centre, Agra.
The new hotel spans 4.5 acres and is easily walkable from the Taj Mahal. The hotel holds 239 contemporary rooms and multiple dining concepts. The property’s biggest dining attraction, however, is The Sky Lounge, a rooftop bar with stunning views of the Taj Mahal.
“We are excited to bring the Taj brand to the historic city of Agra. Agra is renowned world over for being one of the most culturally rich cities. Taj Hotel & Convention Centre, Agra offering spectacular views of the Taj Mahal promises to be a great draw for both, domestic as well as international travellers,” said Rohit Khosla, executive vice president, operations, North, West India, IHCL.
The new hotel and convention centre is the portfolio’s second property in Agra.
