Palm Beach is getting a new name in luxury later this year when the White Elephant Palm Beach opens for business.
The new hotel represents the complete renovation and redevelopment of the former Bradley Hotel, originally opened in the 1920s. Boston-based New England Development helms the project.
The hotel represents standards adopted by New England Development in the latter’s White Elephant Nantucket property.
“Our main mission is to combine our vision of hospitality with the ethos and style of casually elegant Palm Beach,” said Douglass Karp, president, New England Development.
The new hotel goes out of its way to reflect the history and personality of the building it inhabits. The new property has 13 rooms and 19 suites. Each guestroom has an outdoor space and balcony. The penthouse suites feature large living rooms and kitchens.
