Almanac Barcelona

Almanac Hotels, a new brand in the luxury accommodation market, is combining old and new with its unique properties. Each property is a landmark building converted into a hotel, so no two Almanac hotels are alike but each incorporates and celebrates local culture and history by respecting the original architecture of the buildings.

Almanac Barcelona will be the first of these distinctive hotels to launch, set to open in summer 2017. Barcelona firm, OAB Office of Architecture, conceived the architectural redevelopment of two buildings from different eras into one seamless property for the new hotel, ideally located on the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.

The hotel will feature 92 rooms and suites, the stylish Línia Mediterranean brasserie and bar, a panoramic rooftop terrace, a pool and a lounge. The hotel’s design, inspired by the landmark building in which it is located, will feature natural textures and materials, antique mirrors and Ibiza marble.

Following will be Almanac Vienna in 2019, located on the Ringstrasse, one of the most beautiful boulevards in the world. The 122-room hotel will boast a sophisticated spa, business and conference center, ideal for business and leisure travelers.

Almanac Hotels in Prague, Budapest and Zagreb will follow.
