Delta Air Lines and partner Air France KLM bring non-stop service from Indianapolis (IND) to Paris (CDG), May 24, 2018.
Delta is currently the leading global airline in Indianapolis, with service to 13 destinations and 37 peak-day departures; it is also the only airline with a premium lounge at the airport.
“This new service is a great example of the strength of our trans-Atlantic joint venture and we look forward to providing a new economic link between the state of Indiana and Europe,” said Dwight James, senior vice president — trans-Atlantic, Delta.
A Boeing 767-300ER aircraft services the new route, with 25 fully lie-flat seats in Delta One, 29 seats in Delta Comfort Plus and 171 seats in economy. Each passenger receives access to WiFi, free in-flight entertainment and complimentary meals and beverages.
Service goes on sale Sept. 23.
The flight departs from Indianapolis at 6:20 p.m., arriving in Paris at 8:45 a.m. the next day. Return flights depart at 1:15 p.m., arriving in Indianapolis at 4:35 p.m.
“Indiana and the Indianapolis metropolitan area has long been an important part of our route network and we are honored that Delta will be the first U.S. carrier to take Indiana nonstop to Europe,” said Bob Cortelyou, senior vice president — network planning, Delta.
