Nashville (a.k.a. Music City USA) has become a mecca for bachelorette parties, music aficionados and foodies. Here is a brief itinerary for a fun summer weekend in Nashville, including downtown culinary venues to check out, attractions to see and a hotel pool to beat the heat.
Where to Stay
Holston House, the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, with 191 rooms and suites, is in the heart of downtown Nashville and somehow still manages to feel like an elegant oasis far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a daily cocktail and music hour in the lobby, and guests love the attention to detail in every space, from Art Deco influences paired with charming and comfortable rooms to the creative Southern-style menus. Two of the best hotel amenities are the hotel’s rooftop swimming pool and the property’s proximity (yes, walking distance) to many of Nashville’s iconic bars, restaurants, music venues and attractions.

Where to Eat
Before (or after) a cocktail at Holston House’s Bar TENN (also available daily for dinner with a menu of casual bar bites) or the hotel’s rooftop bar called Heirloom, you can enjoy brunch at TENN, which provides daily brunch from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Or check out the 30 different F&B venues offered downtown at Fifth & Broadway’s Assembly Food Hall, open until midnight on weekends. Definitely consider Justin Timberlake’s Twelve Thirty Club, perhaps followed by drinks and country hits at the friendly live music venues located up and down Broadway. Popular venues include Laylas Honky Tunk, Whiskey Bent Saloon and Nashville Crossroads to name just a few.
Outside of the traditional Broadway bar hopping, visitors to music city will find fun and entertainment at iconic venues like The Ryman, Johnny Cash Museum and the Goo Goo Store (highly recommend). The Country Museum Hall of Fame and Museum is another can’t-miss attraction.

Tired yet? Sports lovers can also catch a Major League Soccer match when the Nashville Soccer Club plays at Geodis Park, a 30,000-seat, soccer-specific stadium at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds. Or watch the Nashville Sounds baseball team hit a homerun at First Horizon baseball park in downtown Nashville. During summer nights, the Triple-A minor league Nashville Sounds entertain about 10,000 spectators under the lights.
