Wyndham Hotels Group will introduce its first upscale property in Africa with the opening of the Wyndham Amboseli Golf Resort and Spa in Kenya. Slated to welcome guests in 2017, the hotel will be located close to the Amboseli National Park and approximately 100 miles from the Kenyan capital of Nairobi. The 290-room resort will feature a conference center, spa, 18-hole golf course and the country’s first executive nine-hole course, designed for golf enthusiasts with limited time. The addition of Wyndham Amboseli Golf Resort and Spa joins five other Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties under development in the Middle East and Africa, including the Wyndham Grand Manama in Bahrain and the 497-room Wyndham Dubai Marina, both expected to open next year.
