Through Dec. 24, the deal includes breakfast for two and complimentary transportation to and from Oakbrook Center and a $25.00 gift card to Oakbrook Center. Rates start at $114.
The Winter Wonders for Fido Pet Stay & Play deal provides pets with house-made dog biscuits and designer treats and includes dog-friendly guestrooms with several canine amenities like foam dog beds or cozy crates, water bowls, pet toys, meaty protein snacks, collar bandanas and other seasonal surprises. Complimentary leash collars and outdoor sporting equipment such as snowshoes, balls and Frisbees are also available. The offer is available for guests with one dog that weighs up to 75 pounds. Rates start at $99 for travel Dec. 1–Feb. 28.
A popular Oak Brook Hills winter tradition is the annual Breakfast with Santa event, occurring Dec. 6, 13 and 20. The event includes a chef-driven holiday meal with Santa. Young ones can personally deliver their Christmas wish lists and families have the opportunity to take their annual Christmas photos before or after a handcrafted buffet of fluffy pancakes, made-to-order Belgian Waffles, fresh farm omelets and more. The price for Breakfast with Santa is $35 per adult and $14 for kids 5 to 12 years old.
Valid Jan. 2–Feb. 28, the Oak Brook Hills’ Winter Getaway deal offers outdoor activities combined with a cozy overnight stay. Guests are invited outside to enjoy the hotel’s 150-acre winter wonderland, home to miles of hiking trails, picturesque frozen ponds and magnificent snow-laden trees. The deal includes breakfast for two adults and two children, complimentary WiFi and complimentary early check-in and late check-out. Rates start at $109.

Back in the 1990s, when I was traveling on my airline pilot father’s standby passes, there weren’t many ways for passengers to cancel ambient noise while in flight. I remember squishing and twisting little yellow pairs of foam earplugs with my fingers and letting them rise in my ears while I swirled ice around in my Pawberry Punch and ripped open a cold pouch of Delta-branded Biscoff cookies. Much has changed in travel technology since those days; and although I’ll forever miss Dusty the Delta Air Lion, I’m happy to report no more need for plastic ear foam.
