According to a recent survey from Luxury-Hotels.com, the world’s most expensive hotel is in Utah.
The survey compared luxury hotels around the globe based on their average rates for a standard double room for a three-month period (June–Aug. 2015). The survey defined “hotel” as having at least 15 guestrooms in a single building.
With its lowest average nightly rate of $1,889 for a double room, Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah earned bragging rights as the most expensive hotel in the world.
Hotel Cala di Volpe, located in Sardinia, Italy, came in second with an average nightly rate of $1,789.
