I enjoyed a day at the Long Beach WeWork and it made me miss working in the office. Seeing different faces and having so many different industries under one roof is simply invaluable. Spend a day here and you’ll have the classic WeWork amenities at your fingertips: cold brew on tap, kombucha on tap and a lovely, clean kitchen space to take care of your basic needs and fuel you through the workday.

I made the best of my time there, working in the outdoor patio area to enjoy the sunny Southern California day. Once it got too hot, I went inside and worked in the general community area at a small desk. I could even work off a cycle-desk! The phone booths are pretty neat, just the right amount of space to have quiet to discuss all the best ideas with clients.

I haven’t walked into another WeWork, but the Long Beach location is quite nice. Consisting of three floors (the main floor is for those on-demand memberships), the other two floors each offer a different vibe to change up the scenery while you work. These floors are made available to those looking for their permanent office away from home.

The neighborhood is just what you want: lots of eateries you can walk to. I was planning on enjoying a new restaurant for lunch, but I only made it to the front of the building before being greeted by The Puerto Rican Spot food truck. I helped myself to a jibarito, which uses plantains as your bread.  The Long Beach Waterfront isn’t too far so you can even make your way there to clear your head.

I took a peek at WeWork All Access, and that is quite nice if you own your own business or the team is looking to have a meeting space. I highly recommend a look if you’re over working by yourself at home.
