During Boundless Journeys‘ 12-day Alpine & Coastal Hiking expedition to New Zealand, you can “tramp” like the locals through deep valleys, along coastal paths and rivers, and through misty rainforests. Planned experiences include hiking through the forest of Abel Tasman National Park, a visit to the Marlborough wine region, following the paths through the Te Aroroa Walkway, and the Pelorous Bridge Scenic Reserve with a look at shooting locations used during The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

The trip also includes an opportunity to swim with dolphins and to learn about the customs and traditions of the indigenous Maori people.
